Phantom Doctrine's new Story Trailer at E3

I can’t remember exactly how I heard about the game Phantom Doctrine, possibly through a podcast I was listening to or a story I read, but the concept of it intrigued me and after looking into it, I became fascinated.

Phantom Doctrine is a turn-based tactical strategy game similar to that of X-COM 2. You play as the Cabal, a secret society dedicated to fighting an unknown enemy committed to controlling the world by pitting world leaders and nations against one another. Through completing secret missions, classified files investigations, and enemy agent interrogations, you’ll peel off layer upon layer of a sinister plot and save the world from a somber future.

Develop your base of operations, investigate cases, train agents, forge documents and identities, research new tech, and interrogate and brainwash enemies for a strategic advantage.

Campaign missions encourage player choice with a variety of unique encounters. You can drop your agents into the field with heavy weapons for a complete siege, or deploy them incognito for a quiet stealth assault.

Good Shepherd Entertainment, publishers of Phantom Doctrine, released a story trailer just ahead of E3. It has also been announced that the game will not only come out for PC, but Xbox One and PS4 as well.

The game is expected to be released later this year and I am very excited.
